Soul Fly Pacific Festival is a 3 day destination festival that will be held in Naeba, Japan near Mt. Fuji. The festival will cater to Soul Funk and J Pop listeners. The J Pop genre will focus specifically on the jazz and soul genre because it popularized the genre in the 80s and 90s. The Festival will also cater to a more mature with the age varying from 21+ audience because it is a destination festival and assuming that festival goers have financial stability as well. The design identity has been inspired by the outlandish fashion of the 70s and also the Japanese art form of woodblock printing and Ukiyo-e printing. It will also be a smooth and upbeat to reflect the both moods and also considers the youthfulness of J pop.
Soul Fly Pacific Festival mission statement
is having a multicultural celebration of two cultures and age groups coming together. It will also be a chance for locals to enjoy music from the west and vice versa. Most of all it will be a festival to explore and feel welcomed.
